Surprise Valley Sunset

Surprise Valley Finches first started in 2015 with one male and one female green-back Gouldian Finch. After multiple clutches we decided to expand our flock and purchased more birds. We have been breeding since then and have fine tuned the care of our birds. All our birds are healthy, good fliers, and sing throughout the day. Our birds are indoor and occasionally get wheeled out for sun rays and fresh air. Our birds are located in a solarium where they get lots of sunlight and a view of all the wildlife. We feed our birds a mixed bird seed designed specifically for Gouldian’s, fresh greens, millet spray, egg shells, and protein mix. They also get a steady supply of vitamins added to their daily water. We do not confine our birds to a small cage. We have custom built a flight cage and provide them with a variety of local manzanita branches. Food is provided at different levels and at ground level encouraging them to forge for food. Live plants surround the flight cage along with filtered air. We take the care of our birds very serious. They have even began to modify their songs to mimic the daily whistles we sing to them.

Credit will be given on the next order & live arrival guarantee does not cover shipping cost replacement. You must contact Surprise Valley Finches and a picture of deceased bird emailed to surprisevalleyfinches@gmail.com within two hours of shipment pick up. Any other circumstances are considered on a case by case basis at the discretion of Surprise Valley Finches once contact has been made. Inability to pick up birds upon birds arrival at post office voids all guarantees and is considered neglect by buyer.
